  I'm not sure what's wrong with these folks, but they ignore requests for a written estimate. This has happened on two occasions already, once in 2010 and again, earlier this year. Note that the project in 2010 was a large project (we ended up paying around $10,000 to another vendor), while the project this year was smaller (ended up costing close to $1,000)...
  
  Both times I worked with a rep named Linda Eberhardt. She made the effort to schedule an appointment and visit the site. Linda seemed friendly enough. Pictures were taken of the projects and questions were asked. She agreed to get back to me with a written estimate.
  
  The estimate never came. Follow up calls to Case Handyman and also directly to Linda, were never returned.
  
  I can't put my finger on it, but there may be some underlying reason for being selective of clients. Just want to make any prospective customers aware.....
