Please know that first and foremost, I will always comply with the rules of the law, and ethics regardless of how negatively it impacts me on social media. Divorces are extremely difficult situations and sometimes it is a no win situation. This policy was initially written by another Agent, not me, not Alec, nor anyone from my Agency. That Agent retired, and as the interim Agent, I am left with the unfortunate task of informing you of the policy status. I cannot legally make changes to the policy without the current named insured's approval, which is not you. We have also never made contact with you requesting payment. It is unfortunate this was not the outcome you were seeking, and may be why you found my explanation so irritating to you in every way. I hope things work out better for you going forward.
