I've been buying at this store on and off for about a year, always ordering the same menu item and paying the same amount. But the one day that the "manager" of the store is present, I end up paying $1.50 more. When I inquired about the difference in price from one day to another, the excuses were many: last week we had a special, someone must have ringed you up incorrectly, we stop offering combo prices 2 years ago, you want deli turkey and that's more expensive than turkey sausage. And to add insult to injury, I didn't ask to speak to the manager, I asked the cashier. But the rude and intrusive manager jumped into the conversation and answered my question instead. Perhaps she didn't trust her employee. Or maybe she assumed that I couldn't understand the employee because she had a heavy accent. Which of course says more about the manager than it does about the employee. Either way, don't spend you money at this Dunkin Donuts, every other one in the area provides more courteous service and does not try to up-charge your order just to make a couple bucks.
